She has evidence that the swine flu is man-made and that mandatory vaccinations are intended to spread an even more deadly H5N1 bird flu virus. Please research this topic yourself. Congratulations on a great idea and work Though momentarily frustrating for you and your team, reality only showed that you were right on the mark when designing the Coral Croos game. (Emergency: an interesting word.) But I trust there will be time enough for all that in due course. For now, we're trying to rapidly reinvent the game to support real-life contingencies, exploration and decision-making; an interesting and difficult but necessary -- and perhaps unprecedented -- task.

my wife was involved with emergency preparedness for over ten years, got her certificate in disaster management and is now trying to disentangle herself from the red cross where she's acted as shelter manager for the island of oahu for 3-4 years. i work in the emergency room at HMC-West and am an active member of hawaii's DMAT team, i've been on stand-by for over a week after agreeing to deployment in light of this pig-snuffles thing.

my wife has reached a point where she wont even discuss disaster preparedness she thinks it's such a hoax and though i take a different approach i agree it's complete theater. every large training exercise we've taken part in suggests...most often that nearly EVERYONE DIES. or so near to everyone that it might as well be everyone (of course if you live you'd be pretty happy, traumatized but happy).

the only valuable disaster preparedness plan i've ever heard of that sounded even remotely important was the YOYO response plan. you're on you're own. disaster response is like asymmetrical warfare. we should be building independent sleeper cells to respond not these big state and federal agencies.

i think there is very little relationship between the type of planning that goes on and what people will really need or end up doing should something really serious happens.

just my thoughts.moto96744https://www.blogger.com/profile/18435472192822011230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27290920.post-80310626511920516552009-04-29T05:24:00.000-04:002009-04-29T05:24:00.000-04:00A change of game-plan then, congratulations to the...A change of game-plan then, congratulations to the whole team on addaptivity and flexibility.
